Not even sure if that type of trade is feasible, but I feel like it is going to take a player like them added to Brooklyn for the Nets to really overthrow the Celtics from the top.
We can unload a lot of salary by moving Joe and Seth, Cam is cherry on top that teams already willing to give up 1st rounder.
I hate to repeat myself over and over but, when OKC comes calling for player like Kess you got assets. Cam ain't no different, he will fetch us 1st for sure.
My question is. Where you see Saikam or OG on this team. They not improving us where we need most help. Which is shot blocking. I mean I'm sorry, Siakam definitely is an upgrade. Dude is flat out stud who can be #2 guy and replace Ben and give us more, but at what cost?
Ben and mid 1st rounder should be an upgrade for Siakam. It's just killing our momentum here imo.
Will I do this trade to take us over Saltics for quick 2 year window. Yes
It can definitely be done with few side moves like-> Seth for 1st or Kess/Cam which will do less of course. Moving Seth or Joe can open up lots of things. You can play with few picks and Ben around which will attract lot of attention. Siakam won't be far fetched to say least, can be had tomorrow.
Me personally, I'd explore trade for Isaac because I looking at the future. Dude looked great vs D league trash. Not where we need him to be, but he can give us Nic Claxton minutes in limited time now.
Kelly Olynik also can be had.
Again, start with moving Joe and Seth, can dingle Ben around too.
Than we only have Kyrie and KD salaries to that be eating space, rest of them guys vet min. Nic at 10 mil is a gold mine so he won't be moved.
