When it comes to shooting how clutch do you believe Lebron James has been when taking the final shot? I give him all the respect I can when he drives inside to attack the rim because he's unstoppable from that aspect. It give him credit for his improved shooting over the years when it was questionable during the early stages of his career. What is so difficult for you to understand about that?

You have no interest in being unbiased regarding LeBron. Literally just look at the post I quoted in my post. It's not difficult to deduce that he is "clutch". There's so many moments in his career where he came up big.

* 40/18/9 facing 3-1 deficit on road against Indiana in 2012
* 45/15 facing elimination on road against Boston in 2012
* 26/11/13 to finish off OKC in 2012 Finals
* 32 pts against Indiana in Game 7 in 2013
* 33/11 facing 3-1 deficit on road against San Antonio in 2013
* 32/10/11 facing elimination against San Antonio in 2013
* 37/12 against San Antonio in Game 7 in 2013
* Down 3-1, averages 36.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, 9.7 assists (!!!) to lead historic comeback against Golden State in 2016
* 28/14/10 to finish off Miami in 2020 Finals

LeBron stats in game 7s: 35 PPG, 10 reb, 5.6 assists, 1.8 stl, 0.9 blocks, 60% TS%
LeBron in elimination games: 33.5 PPG, 10.4 reb, 7.5 ast, 1.8 stl, 1.0 blocks, 58.5% TS%

Yeah, totally "middle of the road" clutchness. Most players perform like that, right?
He's played in 21 seasons so of course he's had his clutch moments. I gave him his respect with driving inside but he's not clutch as a shooter.

I hope this doesn't shake you too much but I voted YES on the poll.

Because you're a fault-finder. Maybe you've had a perfect life so we can't blame you.

2016 was a game changer

If we're being honest after 2018 Cavs

LeBron could've joined a contender and won atleast 2 more rings by 2024.

Ingram Lakers and Injury Prone AD is worst case scenario

compared to your average player, that's what superstars are supposed to do

do i want him to take the last shot if i could choose other superstars, hellz no

that was always the buggaboo his whole career. he always got blasted for his end of game choices, LIKE FOR INSTANCE, passing the ball when he spent the whole game getting his 28ppg. many opined he didn't want to be put in a situation of going to the line. some "istas" defended him by saying "well he carried the team the whole game"(which is what superstars do anyway). plus he flat out has NOT been a shooter for most of his career.

so why should he be on the list. we're talking about CLUTCH here,,,not mvp caliber player. as in curry got usa the gold cuz he was CLUTCH

"clutch" in nba parlance means who takes the shot when you need the points

LeBron= Magic/Pippen

They are game quarterbacks that would prefer the open high percentage shot.

KB/MJ/Luka is a player that would prefer a low percentage shot or tough shot vs multiple Defenders.

There's no right way to play basketball but there is a huge difference in mindset

jerry west LOVED taking the shot.

Again, some of you haven’t watched a lot of LeBron games and it shows.

This is the honest answer. You don't want him taking clutch shots or freethrows, but you do want him making clutch layups, where he's dominant.

Clutch players would look something like this:

Jordan
Reggie
Bird
Melo

KD
Kobe
Lebron
Steph
Stockton

etc
I left out players, I'm sure, but you get the idea.

Put some respect on Robert Horry's name!

Yes. Look at the Olympic pre-qualifiers.
Are there players that are more clutch than LeBron? Absolutely.
But last shot, there are probably only 5-10 players I'd rather have take it. Would have been closer to 5 earlier in his career.

Yeah the guy with the most playoff game winners, buzzer beaters, best elimination game player and game 7 player isn’t clutch. Some of you guys deserve to have no credibility in basketball talks for the rest of your lives

I certainly think he is not clutch at all.
But I'm open to the other option that he is clutch - if that's true, together with all his other talents, it just make him even a bigger underachiever than he already is.

I don't think LeFraud has ever hit a clutch shot in his career in the playoffs. Doesn't he have the least amount as a superstar ever? As a Raptors fan we were never worried about "King" James in a playoff series

Compared to other NBA players? Yes.

Compared to the all-time clutch players? That's debatable. I think he's had good and bad moments throughout his career.

The GB continues to be a cesspool of dumbass takes. We have something called stats, you know, empirical evidence, numbers that are facts that can’t be refuted, saying he’s one of the most clutch players of all time. But nah, don’t let your hatred for him stop you from spouting some of that good old verbal diarrhea.
