He breaks the entire structure of the offense if he doesn't want to shoot, and his defense isn't good enough to make up for it. Knicks could be trying to maximize Josh's value and trade him for two quality role players, or for a player who is not afraid to shoot the ball.

Here are different packages that work. I AM NOT SAYING ANY OF THEM ARE GOOD. Just saying that they worked on the spotrac trade machine and I tried to pick ones that might make sense, even ones we would not like.

Hart becomes too redundant to Giannis if we pull it off (or if that is the strategy we are aiming towards).

In fact if you can, trading our lower percentage 3 ball guys is the best strategy (trade Mikal over OG, Hart and then Mitch).

DDV (catch & shoot) has proven he can play & be successful playing along side ball dominant Brunson. Mikal needs the ball in his hands more. If we keep him, I hope our next coach realizes that & allows him to play more with the ball.
