"gotta get there" is such a godawful song though. it sounds like it should be a commercial jingle for some anti-diarrhea medication, starring some guy running to the bathroom after eating some bad chinese food.

I find that electric guitar music so annoying. It really bothers me. Nothing against people who like it. But for me its just high pitched electric noise. Im a old school hip hop head but I like acoustic guitars. Brass and strings. Some light electric. But to listen to someone make all that **** noise with that electric joint irritates the **** out of me.

Much love to that randolph guy for being a knick fan and winning some awards. But all that music he got there sounds the same to me. And makes me feel the same. Irritated.

Crazy how two people can like completely different music. Ha I love good Hip Hop and acoustic sh*t as much as anybody... but rock and metal will always be my babies. Nothing gets the blood pumping like a sweet riff or solo. It takes alot of talent too. You talk about stuff sounding the same, its hip hop. IDK I think Robert Randolph is pretty original. Never heard the instrument he plays before. Pretty cool to me.

But hey you like what you like :D.

Yeah I figured someone who likes the rock stuff would feel about hip hop the same way I feel about the rock or metal stuff. Its understandable. Just not my thing. But the known bias aside, the friday night knicks song is pretty weak. lol

I thought dude was just someone they hired to do a advertisement. I didnt realize he was a known recording artist.

STAT T SHIRT

Post#1346 » by bleedblue3303 » Thu Apr 7, 2011 7:49 am

I saw Amare wearing a t shirt recently. It said Stat and had a cartoon Amare face in goggles. Been searching and cannot find it anywhere. Anyone know where I can find it. Much appreciated.

OT: Anyone with a Droid phone? I need help

Post#1348 » by Tom Haverford » Thu Apr 7, 2011 2:41 pm

So, when I first got the Droid X I added a gmail account that has since been cancelled. I added a new email to the phone but whenever I try to access the marketplace it asks me to sign in under the original (now defunct) email. Any advice?

First: your gonna need a google account that's set up with the proper "nickname" that you want (if you don't already have one).

Second: on your phone do the following at the home screen;

press menu ---> settings ---> applications ---> manage applications, you will get a message "Computing application sizes" then it will go to all apps installed on the phone.

Third: scroll down to "Google Apps" and click it to enter it.

Fouth: click on the "Clear data" button, you should get a black triangle with a white "exclamation point" (!) in it after a few seconds in the top left corner.

Fifth: click the back button until you get back to your home screen.

Lastly: pull down the notification menu and click on the message "Your account must be updated" Follow the onscreen instruction till you get to where it asks you to "create" or "sign in", click "sign in" and enter YOUR google account info. You'll get a message saying that you are signing in and it may take up to five minutes... then click "Finish"

OT: Major Break in Biggie Shooting Revealed

Post#1356 » by Starks1994 » Thu Apr 7, 2011 3:50 pm

So it looks like Suge's fingerprints actually were all over this. Most always expected that, but as I got older through the years I kind of dismissed it. David Mack, the shooter, seemed to be a bit obsessed with Tupac and may have coordinated this with Knight in response to Tupac's death. So this begs the question, was BIG & Deathrow really involved in Tupac's death?

It's such a joke how this investigation was handled you could just tell how corrupt the LAPD is/was, it's like they didn't even give a f*ck. It's really sad to be honest.

It's not surprising though. In the mid 90s LA was plagued with gang violence which created a heightened sense of resentment and indifference to the mostly caucasian police dept. To them all they knew about rap was "Cop Killer" and Gangsa Rap that promoted violence so its no shock that they wouldn't go out of there way to really care about this.

Yea and the irony is it was a gang member police officer who most likely did it smh. I never heard of this Gekko bullet stuff but it sounds like a solid lead, I don't see any other reason for the LAPD not to purse it other than they are severely corrupt.
