Indeed! Most of us do too!

He's a TENACIOUS hustle player, and you can see he doesn't back down from opposing PGs or get "awe struck."

He took it to Lowery and Conley in both games, even tho he's just an Undrafted Rookie. His outside shot is still streaky, but his dribble penetration and passing is ON POINT! He's a Coaches dreaaaaaaaam with his flawless fundamentals.

I think that's why the Knicks management ultimately signed him first over Randle (even if Randle got hurt).

His Defense would look NICE alongside DSJ or Monk!

Henry Ellenson has actually gotten significant minutes in the last two games and has been fun to watch. Nice numbers and may create a silver lining for Pistons fans despite this terrible season.

Dont know where you stand on Melo but this team and even Melo has been playing different since Rose went out and Baker has started.

We've been extremely competitive versus some playoff teams without KP or even Melo for some.

Dont know where you stand on Melo but this team and even Melo has been playing different since Rose went out and Baker has started.

We've been extremely competitive versus some playoff teams without KP or even Melo for some.

It's because Baker actually passes and runs an offense. Jennings used to do the same as well.

But with Rose, he just puts his head down and goes onto the paint, rarely kicking out. I alluded to this in another post, but at times Melo would be a better PG on the floor than Rose.

Also, if someone like KP was leading the scorers, Rose would seemingly get jealous and try and up his stat numbers with repeated drives and rare passes. Many times ruining the flow of the team's offense.

You don't really get that with Baker. Not to mention his superior Defense compared to Rose.

Realistically, 37.4% on jump shots certainly isn't bad for a rookie, but more consistency couldn't hurt especially since he's not taking many 3's.

It's certainly doable. But I doubt the Knicks emphasize it right now given WillyG's aforementioned great hands/footwork in the paint, and them already having Porzingis (and possibly Melo) to cover the midrange and Perimeter.

NY likely wants WillyG & KP as their Frontcourt of the future, and having WillyG get comfortable with the Perimeter will eventually get him into the way of KP's (and Melo's) spaces on the floor.

ESPECIALLY with the Triangle being all about Spacing and having a RELIABLE low post option needed (like what WillyG currently is).

It appears that Coach Hornacek has seen enough of his 3s in practice to have recently given him the green light to move out to the 3pt line.
This Kid is looking more and more like Marc Gasol every game.

He'll have to show that more in games then because the 3 point shot he made today was his first in 3 months. He does just about everything else well, that's why I agree that deepening his range could do wonders for him.

Didn't know that. But I absolutely see your point range will take his game vertically. In quick time he can have one of the elite fundamentally sound games in the NBA.

2.5 of these were NBA assists though, still.

Why? Skal has shown he can score. Other than that he's too weak to defend power forwards. In this current day NBA game, that's not a good look. He can't defend SF's either. Son that's a steeeep learning curve.

Prince has shown he can score in a variety of ways and is already a pretty good defender. Great size and build for current day game too.
