Shamet or Brogdan won’t be in the rotation.
Brogdon is a better player than Clarkson. The only question with Brogdon is his health.
Clarkson's offensive skillset might not be something the Knicks actually need UNLESS Brunson, Bridges, Anunoby, or KAT get hurt.
There's a decent chance OG will miss time; he usually does. Last year was an outlier.
Brogdon does a lot of good things, sure Shamet and/or Matthews are "stay in their lane, accept a role" kind of player, but Knicks need another guy who can create his own shot at an elite level from all 3 levels of scoring, because other than Brunson and the injury question mark that Brogdon is, the roster sort of lacks that player.
Can Mikal create? Yes. He's hardly elite though. Probably 4th best guy after Clarkson.
OG? Not really. Ok, a little.
KAT? Sure, but he's better getting set up. He's a big.
Deuce? No.
Yabu? Eh
Hart? In the open floor, yes. In the halfcourt? Eh.
Mitch? No. Huk? No. Dadiet? No.
It's ok for Clarkson to be on the Knicks. They can use what he does.
Ummmmm but what about the defense?
