First of all, I want to state that in my opinion it's never okay to boo your own players.
Nobody will play better after such treatment. On the other hand Xhaka shouldn't have reacted the way he did, it's just dumb and won't help his popularity, which is low no mather what.
On that note I blame Emery for this situation. He's been sticking with the duo Guendouzi-Xhaka even though everybody can see it just doesn't work. That pairing doesn't provide cover for our weak backline. Their best games were with a real defensive midfielder, like Torreira. Even though Emery sets a defensive side, we're allowing chance after chance. It's mindblowing.
On the attacking side of things we don't have a plan at all. We're living by grace of a touch of class by one of our attackers.
At home we're often playing with three controlling midfielders and four at the back. Just hoping that Ceballos/Pepe/Laca or Aubameyang scores a banger.
In my eyes he's done and I believe he lost the dressing room. His treatment of certain players is just weird. You're surviving such things if the results are there, but when things go wrong, such things will break you.
It's an interesting take. Personally I don't like Emery - just because he has the most bizzare facial expressions during a match - I think he was wrongly judged at PSG where he was doing an okay job but where the expectations are just too high. Money can't always buy you everything. At Arsenal I just don't understand his buys, everyone knew that he needed defence, yet he didn't get it. Is that down to him or is someone else pulling the strings?
He has had balls to drop Ozil. Ozil hasn't performed at Arsenal since he arrived apart from on a few occasions. I'm guessing again that someone else loves Ozil and that's why he got the new contract - crazy, Ozil isn't going to leave because he won't even get half the salary anywhere else now and he has no ambition. Xhaka was another terrible buy from before Emery's time, I've never seen the guy have a good game and he's always likely to make a mistake that costs a goal. Why is he captain? Apparently the players like him - I don't know why. They need some hard love and a captain who will call them out in the dressing room whilst backing the manager. Great frontline which is always going to score but if I was Aubameyang or Lacazette I'd be looking at getting a transfer to a team that is playing in the CL - still it's not so easy to find good teams that pay the kind of money they are on. They could go to Manure but it's even worse there.
Emery getting the sack won't really change anything will it? Like Manure the rot has set in and a broom is needed to remove the cancer which probably starts with whoever is agreeing contracts with these players. The problem for Arsenal is that they don't even have the cachet of Manure. Wenger got them top players but whoever they bring in will need to be able to do the same and I can't see who that could be. If Arsenal miss out on European football - unlikely but possible this season - the end of the road as a"big" team could be in sight.
