Looks like Denver is going full on tank. If they can deal Lawson, they will be incredibly bad. Hopefully this means they lose enough down the stretch to make the Lakers sweat about that pick.

If you have been reading the forum at all, I mean, it's been mentioned a dozen times.... you can not do 5 year S&Ts anymore. You also can't trade to tax teams. Options would still be limited even in the Summer.

A great way to make sure no attractive free agent comes here in the next handful years is to screw around with Dragic like that. He may deserve it, but it's dumb as hell.

Hopefully McD can convince him otherwise.

Just... no way. He would just go to the Lakers or Knicks outright. The best markets also happen to have the best roster situations and the most cap space. Not a plan. That's death.

You don't lose him for nothing. You lose his cap hold and obtain his cap space. I hope Sarver 1) Doesn't trade him 2) Benches him for the season / suspends him 3)Trades IT and sends a clear message to this team that Bledsoe is our leader follow him.

In hindsight, how Bledsoe handled himself during his contract speaks volumes about him as a leader. Not all leaders are vocal.

Maybe this is all a ploy by Duffy to make a statement since the FO was basically ignoring Dragic's concerns. They make the list of teams so small and ridiculous that a trade can't be worked out. Then we trade IT and meet Dragic's demands and pay him big.

yeah seems pretty simple to me. **** if the best deal is some picks a few years from now from from Miami take it. The only trade that would be worse than just keeping him is taking a bad contract back.
