Not being an option anymore might be putting it too strongly but Shams came out today saying their primary focus is currently with Houston, Minnesota, and Miami. Perhaps thats wherw the comment came from.

I think the suns are trying to posture as they should. You can’t let the spurs have their cake by keeping the #2 and castle unless they give us the vassel/sochan/filler/14 and a future 1st. The Minnesota trade is exclusively catering to the draft heads outside of Gobert who doesn’t excite me at all being that he’s 32 and trending down.

Either Texas trade is what I’m hoping for. Not the idiotic Dillon brooks/green package either. The convo starts with Jabari smith in Houston.

I still think Houston is the best partner, hopefully they step up with the best offer and we are able to parlay Jalen Green elsewhere/in a 3 way for more assets. Just don't see the fit with book

By that logic Gobert isn't in the deal the Wolves are offering right now, which is what I said. I also don't see them including him. You're just hoping they will, if the Heat include Ware (which also hasn't happened yet). It sounds like the offers right now (Jovic & Highsmith, Randle, etc) are actually worse than the Spurs offer (probably something like Barnes, Vassell & 14), which is why Vegas still has them with the top odds.
