And with how bad the Mavs are, it should be a very easy decision to just tank and trade everyone away that they can get assets in return for. Then just allow Flagg to have a high usage and low efficient rest of the season.
Basically night in night out, he should be penciled in for 15+ shots and leading the team or at least 2nd in USG and Time Per Possession.
I'm a Euro that doesn't follow college ball at all, so this is my first time seeing Flagg
by reading threads about him prior to the draft and since, I was led to believe he has an aspect of a really high motor and a very tenacious player. several names were floated around quite often as possible comps. I was also led to believe he'd be a menace defensively
honestly, so far I haven't really seen either from him. i'm sure he'll be an offensive star once he develops and matures, but i'm not seeing the defensive upside or the crazy motor. not yet anyway...
