Thats an exceedingly foolish stat. Look at the leaders. They're generally the leaders of so far mediocre-to-bad teams. Why? Because you need your stars to do something special to get you back in the game. The stat isn't completely useless, but lets see their FG%, TS, TO, and minutes played. Without context, this is just a bunch of numbers.
There's not a place that I know of that breaks down those stats for just the 4ht quarter, but there is a place (82games.com) that tracks them in the last 5 minutes and overtime of games where neither team is leading by more than 5 points. From that you can get eFG%, FT%, points per 48 minutes, assists per 48 minutes, assist/bad pass ratio, team net points per 48 minutes (i.e. how many points that player helps their team outscore their opponent by in clutch situations).
Here's a table with those stats for the 5 players listed for most 4th quarter points (plus Turkoglu, who was apparently overlooked in the 4th quarter scoring stat), with the leader in each category numbers bolded, listed in order of team net points per 48 minutes (i.e. how effective they are in helping the team outscore the other team with the game on the line). The columns
eFG%, FT%, points per 48, assists per 48, assist/bad pass, team net points per 48.
