Cammo,
As a Pacer fan, what team do you think might be most willing to trade a 1st Rd. pick. I know it all depends on an offer, but in general, what is the lowest pick that might be had? IN had true need @ PG & PF/C. That said, I still agree if the draft went the way you have it IN would likely pick EG, but we would still have needs.

The bigger question is what exactly does Indy have to offer? Indy could probably trade their pick for both NJ picks and take Collison and Hibbert. Portland's pick is said to be available, though I am not sure Indy has anything they want all that badly. A Dunleavy deal could be possible, but if I had to guess Indy will have a hard time moving up. Trading down and picking up NJ's picks and taking Hibbert and Collison or Love and Collison could be a better route to go for Indy.

Do you think Greene will become a much better player than Martell Webster? Because Martell is a 3pt specialist and I think he is a good athlete but he just isnt used the right way in Portland and doesnt have enough plays run for him. Still, the question I ask is do you believe Greene is enough of an upgrade over Martell to warrant taking him at 13? I havent seen much of him this year but I hear that he still has a lot of room to improve.

I think Greene can become a poor man's Rudy Gay.

Like it as a Blazer fan. Really like the 2nd round, however a poster on the Blazer board with a reliable source said earlier in the year that Pritchard had targetted Bayless and Westbrook so I'm just not sure PDX would pass 0n him.
From Portland to Reno to Vegas to LA to SLC and on to HotLanta. Winning at life. Too Blessed to be Stressed

No dude. This draft is too good to pass up. Hickson and Ibaka are excellent prospects and Greene is good if really raw. Pritchard would be very happy with a draft like this even if there's no Bayless and Westbrook. Arguably the best players available were drafted at every spot, and with solid value.

If you look @ his mock Westbrook is still available and PDX takes Greene. My point was not that we wouldn't want Greene or that would be disappointed with this Draft, just that KP wouldn't take Greene with Westbrook still available.PhilipNelsonFan wrote:-= original quote snipped =-

Yeah, take the guy who can't shoot, rebound, defend, or dribble worth a damn. I don't approve of guys who choose to take over half of their attempts as 3's and make them at a terrible %. He's also can't create a lick of offense, and i've seen a bunch of Cuse games. He's extremely slow laterally on D as well, and gets blown by alot unless Cuse is in their zone.

R.I.P Red , Norm, Bullsmaniac, and pdenninggolden.

This guy was a freshman, cut him a break. These were a lot of the same arguements people had against taking Rudy Gay.
