That's pretty racist.
It's Vonleh. Wiggins played on the international squad with Exum.
Woah woah woah. I'm racist for thinking a face that actually does resemble Wiggins' and a similar arm motion on his sprint is Wiggins? The fact that he played for the international team slipped my mind.
Too late, dude. You're on the list.

If we pick Randle even at 4 all of my enthusiasm about the sale/culture change will be destroyed.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

1. Parker
2. Wiggins
3. Embiid
4. Smart
I just don't like what I see in Exum. Too ball dominant, not really a PG and unproven. Smart, while having his definite shortcomings, has the body and mindset to play in the league right now. Plus, I think having Smart would help make Knight our 6th Man, a role where I think he would flourish.

The too ball dominant stuff about Exum is insane.

Wolters, Smart and Giannis might be the worst shooting backcourt in the history of the NBA.

Ellis, Jennings, and Daniels might give them run for their money.

So will Patric Young. What's that? He's not a PG? Yeah, neither is Smart.
Those voters who made him a finalist for the Cousy Award must have been laboring under a misapprehension.

Do you have Kyle Anderson as a point guard in the NBA as well? Hell, he got farther in the voting then Smart did.

I wouldn't compare him to Robinson or Hakeem athletically, he's got a very different body type. DRob was so naturally strong from the navy work he's not even comparable to embiid in that regard. Robinson was walking on his hands across the court while embiid has the stereotypical African big man frame and body. Very fluid, but not strong. Hakeem wasn't as tall as embiid and had much better legs. Obviously he was older though. That will be a big thing for Joel to improve upon. Right now he's falling all over the place when he posts up because his base is weak, guys push back and he loses balance, same if they pull the chair out from under him.
I'd also be surprised if he weighed at 250, he doesn't look it and is definitely thin. I think he'll add weight over time but functional strength will be very important.
Personally, I don't want us to draft embiid even if his back checks out. Even the best doctors are wrong about back injuries routinely and I don't view embiid as a superior prospect even if 100% healthy.
Yeah, where are people getting all these Hakeem comparisons from?

I could throw out a dozen other highlights exactly like this too that show incredibly advanced post footwork. If you can't see the comparisons you probably haven't watched him play.
While I do agree that he isn't physically aggressive enough on offense sometimes strength is not an issue at all. He has the same frame as Hakeem, all you have to do is Google a few pictures.

That video was always hilarious to me for two reasons. One for the "dream shake" and the other being Todd MacCulloch sneaking back into the NCAA 15 years later and 50lbs heavier.

That argument is the equivalent of saying "But the Bucks made the playoffs last year..."
Madison - Wisconsin senior Jordan Taylor on Thursday was named among the 11 finalists for the Bob Cousy Award, given annually to the top point guard in the nation.
Taylor, a finalist for the award last season, is averaging 14.1 points, 4.3 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game for UW.
See.

That's a good move, but that's not Hakeem's dream shake. Let's be honest here.

With a decent jumper, yes. They are both a little short for the position, but they throw themselves around and get a lot of points in the paint.

Probably not. Could be a Paul Pressey point forward, though, but we'll see. Smart, however, is a pure Jason Kidd-type PG if he's in the NBA at all.

Randle's defense and effort on that side of the court is truly abysmal. I don't know why anybody would want a player like him. Smart has some really good redeeming quality's, but Randle...yuck.

Millsap has an advanced perimeter game and is an excellent defender too. Other than body type as college players I don't see the comparison at all.
Edit: That's a bit far I guess. Millsap isn't a bad comparison if he improves a ton. He's just looked too lost defensively for me to project him being that good.
