He's been lame and making bad music but canceled? Nah not all that. Like I wasn't looking our for Kanye but now I'm actively refusing to support him. That means listening to old **** I already own is done too just like with Fab.

The list goes on. I’ve literally cancelled so many mofo’s. Singers too. The straight up self hate and disrespect towards black people while simultaneously profiting off of black culture is a no from me. They can all FOH.

4:44 got Jay halfway to canceled but being mistaken and slow is different than open self hate. Like most of these dudes ain't smart but they also aren't malicious. Kanye is probably the only major rapper that can be accurately described using the term white supremacist.

The whole message of the album is that same bootstraps nonsense. That whole "the real reason black america isn't overachieving is because they're burying themselves" crap. Like Story Of OJ got well known for the opening where he mentions OJ acting like he isn't black but then Jay spends the rest of the song chastising black people for not buying expensive art and profiting off real estate (with no mention of redlining or all the major reasons black people are underrepresented in home ownership). It comes off very "I got mine why can't you".

I see what you’re saying but I didn’t take it that way. I looked at it more like we as blacks need to re-think and change what we prioritize.

Cars lose value. Art doesn’t. Credit is literally needed for everything but we don’t seem to instill the importance of having good credit in our youth. That being said, Jay is damn near 50 with his pockets set and a wife that matches those same pockets. It’s an older dude telling the younger guys to take a different route from him in what to prioritize financially.

Nothing different from me listening to my mother or something like that

I would see it that way if he wasn't doing it by comparing what most people spent their money on when they're young (living) to what he was when he was young and rich (jewelry, cars, strippers). Like keep it real 95% of dudes out here can't afford to blow or invest money in the ways Jay-Z talked bout in that song so his message isn't needed. Plus if you listen to the rest of the album he paints a similar picture about black people needing to invest and comparing them to other groups of people and their wealth (mainly the Jewish) at too many points for me to chalk it up to bad wording.

I'd say Rich Dad, Poor Dad (which I've read a few times) also completely ignores the realities of America for minorities in favor of a bootstraps theme.

I can separate music from the person (unless they're just a garbage piece of **** human), so I'll still bump Kanye. I can see why people would be turned off from certain things but a lot of his music is just way too good. You don't know what anybody really does behind closed doors or the damage or harm they cause others, so I can let certain things slide. But I for sure see why some people would refuse to **** with their **** anymore.

I would say a political ideology that extols laying on your azz instead of working, advocating and harboring people who enter this country illegally ( fun fact more than 20% of the dreamers have criminal records) and separate and identify people based upon race instead of their humanity and merits is more akin to self-hatred and psy ops. But hey I'm just somebody with a 158 IQ a short fuse and a lot more common sense so please engage me because I would be happy to light this thread up until one of the more cuckold moderators lock it.

You realize to become DACA/dreamer you CAN'T HAVE A CRIMINAL RECORD, right? You'd think before spewing some BS that you'd fact check something instead of relaying info from a poorly made graphic from a Twitter bot.

I agree 100%, it's generally worthless to anyone that doesn't have good money stashed to invest. It's self-help for the privileged with little to no utility for others. I liked 4:44 overall though, in spite of it having a bit of the Bill Cosby talking down to younger comedians vibe.

The other guy - Lucian Grainge is the head of Universal Music Group.

Probably working on promo with these two.

Kanye West doesn't care about black people.

Also I blame Rick Rubin's white supremacist ass. He probably did this.

I agree with your first statement.

Second is based on nothing but assumption. I don’t blame Rubin, I blame Kanye for being a 1%er that don’t care about anything but his pockets.
