I didn't say anyone on the team is gonna step to him. I said if I were on the team and had tenure *I WOULD* step to him. This schit would not be going down on my squad from such a young unaccomplished dude this early in his career. You can spin it however you like but this is no positive move on Willy part. He can express his burning desire to play via his effectiveness in practice and the minutes he gets in games. No matter how spotty the mins, he needs to bust his tail on defense every min he gets. We haven't seen that. And if he feels like he is being given a raw deal (which he is not, cuz the trade deadline has not even came and went yet - give management a chance to make an actual deal) he can handle things in-house.

Yall act like Kanter wasn't JUST making comments about his fourth quarter minutes last week.

I think someone specifically asked Kanter that, but this isn't about him. Even Beasley has mentioned playing time.

Willy has been whining all year and its his own fault he got beat out of his own spot.

Willy's complaints came with Berman specifically asking as well. My stance on this was "players want to play, giving the most obvious answer to the question isn't whining" and that holds for Kanter and Beasley as well. Nevertheless with that said Okafor sat for far longer than Willy and was a more highly touted player at a much larger salary before he went to the media constantly.
