Well personally I never thought the numerical "10" is so important as much as the skill and ability to garner the statistic. He's averaging about 21/6/5, and never seemed like a stat padder IMO.
He's been playing SG, so he's more out of position for rebounds than SFs like Lebron and Durant. He ranks #3 amongst SGs at rebounding. #5 amongst SGs at assisting. http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/player/_/stat/assists/position/shooting-guards
Excluding big men from the conversation, here are the perimeter-oriented players I'd take over Jimmy:
Lebron, Durant, Leonard, Curry
These are relatively equal players IMO. Better at some things (decision-making, 3P shooting, rebounding/shot-blocking, length), worse at others (defense, toughness, drawing fouls, mid-range scoring):
Harden, George, Paul, Westbrook, Giannis (potential), Lillard, Wall
Because of injuries, there are several stars I wouldn't consider (Kyrie, Melo, etc.)
I struggle seeing any other players who are (or will be) better than Jimmy for the next 2 years. I consider big-men an entirely different category. You should try to pair a player like Dray, Davis or Aldridge with Jimmy, not replace him. There are at most, 15 of these elite perimeter guys. I don't see why would dump him, for a shot at getting another one, when less than half of the league has one.
