Yes, Conley for #6 would be better than most of these options.

Hell if the Raptors lose to the Warriors and Kawhi leaves, you might even be able to land Lowry WITH something attached for #6.

Don't settle for players with flaws in their games.

Dsjr is technically a veteran compared to anyone in the NBA draft

Good thought actually. This is a possibility.

At the draft, the Pels likely say no. They still want to convince AD to stay and even if they deal him they might want to hit the ground running with Zion, Jrue and whatever the AD gets them. IMO, the #6 is weaker in this draft than most others.

Yeah, it is a 3 player draft. Then a whole pile of maybes.

I can't see the Pels letting Jrue go for #6. Maybe for #3.

The peripheral pieces dont offset the loss of being able to draft Ja

In my humble opinion, Ja Morant is the type of prospect you give up the farm to get much like Zion is viewed in this draft.

I'd offer 6, Warren and our 2021 first (top 3 protected) for #2.

Morant
Booker
Jackson
Chriss
Ayton

I'd expect that team to compete for the playoffs in the next 2 years with the right coaching and veteran leadership from ancillary pieces. Of course, I think Phoenix will end up signing some bad veteran FAs or trade for Lowry or Conley instead.

Wasnt Chriss traded to Houston, then moved to the Cavs?

Why would Memphis go this? They're going to rebuild. Don't think Josh Jackson had shown enough, consistently, to be a long term piece.

And at this point, why unload Parsons? Wait for him to expire

I've heard Suns or Bulls top pick for Lonzo. It makes some sense for them, but Lakers just hired Jason Kidd to turn Lonzo into another Kidd or teach him to shoot better. Lakers are a mess lol.

As a Suns fan, the only veteran I'd really be interested in when factoring cost (via trade), salary, fit and age is Rubio. I think he's the perfect fit. Defensive and pass first. Don't need shots so Booker and Ayton can still be offensive focal points. Shouldn't cost too much.

Yeah definitely not anything realistic. Portland and gs aren’t chomping at the bit to send away dame or Steph for a number 6 pick

The 6th pick is not all that valuable this season, there is a pretty big drop off after the 3rd pick. Wall would be a terrible deal for the Suns, but someone like Conley would be good for them from a leadership perspective (help build a winning culture) and he contract will be up in 2 years. Holiday is probably too expensive (they may want more than just the 6) but the pels should consider doing it to clear salary off the books. Knowing the Suns management, maybe they trade 6 for Rozier (sign and trade) which would be hilarious. Having said that, if Boston threw a 1st back at the Suns (maybe 22) then its not so horrible

Wall could look like a genius acquisition under the right conditions

Jrue is better as a 2.. Mike Conely for pick 6 makes perfect sense as they already have pick 2 for Morant.. have to get the salaries to work obviously maybe suns can also offload an unwanted contract..

Holiday is better at the SG position than PG as evidenced when paired with Rondo.. Conley for the 6th pick and an unwanted contract makes sense.. Or I guess Dragic if you really wanted to go their.. As said just signing Rozier straight up makes sense if you have the cap space..

A three player draft where the one and three didn't win the tournament.. And Garland is conceivably better than RJ... You guys have no idea..

Lowry has a huge hole he is not tall enough and never shows up in the playoffs.. Pick 6 is overs for Lowry and it Kawhi leaves Toronto might jump on that just to rebuild.. Conely is way better than Lowry..
