I sure hope the Pacers develop 3 point accuracy this year because it just feels like they’re a bit deficient there. I miss the days of having a knock down long range shooter like Reggie and Billy Keller.
I know it’s a lot to ask of a rookie but I hope Duarte can become that Mr. Automatic
Based on the preseason before his ankle sprain, Justin was running all over the place offensively, and largely running much the same skillset that Doug did in Indy. Obviously, just pre-season, but it sure seemed like they basically told Justin to run like crazy like Doug did and just imitate Doug, which I think he can do pretty well.
Otherwise, Reggie was a career 39.5% shooter from 3. Last year, Oshae, Lamb, and Martin bested that, while Brogdon and Justin were within 1% of that each, respectively. As a team, we were largely middle of the pack at 17th in 3 point percentage. I don't think we're too far off from where we want to be. Hopefully, under new coaching this year, we can get not just a high volume of 3 point attempts, but a high volume of good 3 point attempts.
