Jabari Smith Jr could be a cheaper option, but Houston would be fools to trade him... I'm obviously a fan of that type of player

Yeah, for me, the holy grail of complementary players are those block & three 4/5s and the big guards who can defend, pass, shoot, and decent amount of on ball shotcreation. That’s what made the Celtics so tough, they had two of each type, while most teams are lucky to have one of each. If you can put four of those guys in a 5 man unit, you don’t even need a superstar alpha, they just make the game so much easier. But who knows.. maybe Embiid and Boone can be that block&3 4/5 for us.
And in OKC’s case, they had SGA so they were in another level.
