This post could rile some up, but a better prime Jeff Green is a really good player.

He's not capable imo, but especially with no real offseason to work on things. He's a solid #3. And until we get a real #2 (Pritchard?) behind Tatum we'll be pretenders. The problem with Jaylen is he's just not a natural basketball player. Simple acts like dribbling are an effort. The game moves way too fast for him, so that, combined with his poor handle has capped his upside. This wouldn't be an issue except the fans think he's a #2 and some actually think he's capable of being a #1.
Brad just needs to park him in the corner to spread things out for Tatum and Pritchard (until Kemba comes back) so he can do what he's good at. Trying to put more on his plate will end in disaster. It could affect his shooting because that's all about confidence.

I know this is your usual schitck with the Jaylen hate, but the "we get a real #2 (Pritchard?)" was completely unexpected and made me burst out laughing

nah, he's been the epitome of a 3 and D on offense. We only have two weapons. It's a failure of the Bucks coaching that they didn't defend Jaylen better. There's no excuse for him being defended by Connoughton, Divencenzo and Middleton only when we have no other source of offense besides him and Tatum at the moment. He was left WIDE open for threes and mid range shots multiple times. He does have the ability to take scrubs off the dribble and when lazy defenders like Holiday can get don't clamp him down as well. He is absolutely not capable of having the offense run through him. Compare the shots Tatum had to take versus Jalen. Focus more on how players score more than stats. Also, he may have scored 33 but he gave up 25 so it's not as impressive.
I want to see this same energy from you fanboys when he has terrible games. But I know when he does the excuses will be flying around like usual. It's one game. Relax. If he does this consistently for the season I'll eat crow.
