I feel like we should be running a 3-2 not 2-3 zone

I would prefer if Fultz never played another game for the Magic frankly.
And obviously I feel the opposite way you do.
The Magic have succeeded with Paolo and Franz on the ball, great defense and the bench dominating.
None of those three things happened and we're calling for Fultz? Screw that.
We're going to allow only 4 games where everyone of the starters who shot ridiculously poor determine that?
Fultz was apart of the 6 game winning streak last year with the same guys essentially. You can't tell me he can't adjust his game to fit around these guys.

That last possession that ended in the Franz airballed stepback 3 is why I roll my eyes a little bit at the whole "why don't they use Black as more than a spot shooter?" stuff.
The ball was swung to him, he got closed out on hard and he correctly put the ball on the floor... but once his defender when sailing harmlessly by, he just had ZERO desire to do anything other than immediately pass the ball.
Like those are the opportunities he has to just start trying something for himself.
Aimlessly dribbling near the paint and desperately looking for the first available pass isn't helping anybody.

I think it’s fair to also say that we’re playing below capacity, and without depth who are arguably starting calibre.
Imagine if we had WCJ off the bench for this game instead of Moe Wagner?
But again, Moe's been awesome the vast majority of this season. Yes, he's been AWFUL tonight, but he's been extremely good most of the year. Does he deserve to lose his rotation spot? Certainly not.
I have never just been a big fan of how reactionary people are to individual losses. Especially blowout losses.
Sometimes guys just don't play well and it isn't much deeper than that. One horrible effort shouldn't supersede multiple weeks of good play.
I think we’re talking about different things here. I’m just saying WCJ and Fultz are plus players whom we are missing.
I agree with your viewpoint and don’t know how the Magic are going to balance all the pieces and with what kind of diplomacy. My only suggestion would be making guys know that they’ve always got to be on or else someone is ready and hungry for those minutes. Ride the hot hand from night to night.

Last year has no bearing on this year though.

I have to say I hate seeing Black out there on defense with other point guards like Cole. We knew it was going to happen

WCJ/Goga
Paolo/Isaac
Moe can play when Isaac rests or there are specific matchups he can feast on.
Quite an overreaction.

You work with what you have. It's a long season. Those guys are coming back and they're going to play.. might as well.

Suggs 5-9 from 3
Black 2-4 from 3
A taste of the future.

Who is Moe better than consistently on offense and defense from that four?
Not playing over Paolo
Isaac has WAY more impact even with way less offense
Goga can get exploited in small-ball, sure, but again, way better defense and can be used as a passer
Moe has feasted with Joe Ingles and bullies his way inside.. gives up rebounding and defense.

Also, last year Fultz wasn't broken. Now he's all hitchy again.

Suggs is a warrior. Good to see Black knock some shots down.
Everything else sucked. Glad Fultz didn’t come back as the blame would have been all focused on him.

I guess you don't think we need to have the highest scoring bench in the NBA anymore.
