He had a swollen knee that he just recovered from but didn't play tonight because of flu like symptoms

He's a ballstopper on offense and his usefulness to the Pistons is over. Better to lose with a good young prospect than with an older player whose best days are long gone. However, if you can get a good point guard and a good sf to team with Monroe and Drummond, you could make waves in the near future.

Stuckey is not a PG, that experiment failed 2 years ago. He is however decent enough at it to play 10-15minutes a game as a backup. He's already more than adequate. Knight is 20years old, in his 2nd season, he's already proven he can start as a PG, it matter of him learning the position. If you could elaborate on why you think he's "not adequate at point guard" and your assertion that prince's "usefulness" is over. As much as i would like to defend prince and knight, your just making statements with 0 support.

Its actually better to win with a veteran player than lose so a young player can develop. makes 0 sense coaching wise.

Lastly we'll be making waves in the very near future with our young core, or at least just as many waves as Milwakee,Washington, and toronto will.

That last dunk is so sick and pretty freakin athletic, too bad he didn't finish with power as it would have probably made it one of the top plays for the preseason

Stuckey didn't play PG last year, and Knight was a 20 yr old rookie. If you were expecting Rondo/Paul IQ from a rookie PG you set yourself up to be disappointed.

Just saying its foolish to expect any rookie PG to play with the poise and IQ of top 5 PG's in their prime like Rondo and Paul.

Also, not sure why you keep including Stuckey as a PG. As most have pointed out, Knight is their PG. Stuckey is a SG. They just drafted Knight 8th overall last year and he made All-Rookie 1st team. Why on earth would they be looking for another PG right now?

I think all Piston fans would agree with you on Prince and playing the young guys though.

Anthony Davis had probably his first off shooting night of the preseason, scoring only 6 points. But he tacked on 17 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. He is truly a ridiculous player. Hornets have outrebounded every team they have played so far.

Unfortunately, a big part of that is how many shots they are missing.

Austin Rivers went down with an apparent sprained ankle, and it didn't look good. Without Gordon or Rivers, it was painfully obvious that the Hornets lack anyone that can penetrate and create offense for the team. Davis can clean around the rim, Davis can pick and pop, or pick and roll. But he can't do it alone.

Robin Lopez expirement working with flying colors, the Greivas Vasquez expiriment not so much.

WOW.. I am really impressed with this kid. He is very calm and smooth. Although he took some quick shots but that will improve with experience. He will be ROY.

Haha, look at Dwight already blaming Kobe for that one. Kobe isn't going to put up with that for very long, so Dwight better watch it.

Why should the Pistons try to get a another point guard when they have Knight? Because he's inadequate, that's why. Stuckey actually gets more assists per minute than Knight does. Knight is a shoot first combo guard per Hollinger, and I agree with Hollinger. If the Piston's ditch some of their older less productive players (i.e. Tayshaun Prince) and pick up a good point guard somewhere, they'll go places. The future is getting Drummond and Monroe as many touches as possible. Any point guard who doesn't understand that should be benched or traded.

Brandon Knight is going to prove all the haters wrong this season...

It's definitely too early to give up on him (or any of those 2nd year guys since they were drafted during a lock out) but it seems like Knight has a tendency to play head down a little too much. Not as bad as Austin Rivers, but still.

^During the preseason Knight's court vision looks improved, I wouldn't sleep on him...Austin Rivers is a SG, I have no idea what the Hornets organization are thinking by playing him at the 1...
