That's your best response to a pointed and simple question?
You could have just sat this one out, lil buddy.
Oh, you wound me, sir. I just wanted to meme in peace, but you have besmirched my honor, so en garde.
You are not right, nor are wrong, for we know little of the closed door negotiations. There are finite reasons why a deal hasn't been inked that's left up to speculation. But when compared to other players in this very situation, i.e., Brandon Ingram, who has skipped the "volunteer" mini-camp for obvious reasons (stir the boat), I see no signs that a breakup in imminent. That disgruntled factor just isn't there.
On the other hand, we don't see anything similar happening on the Randle/Knicks front. He signed with CBA earlier in the year, Thibs has spoken about how he's going to use Randle, Randle voicing excitement with playing with this version of the Knicks, this school opening, and while speculation on my part, I'd bet money that MSG had something to do with the production of the Randle video and/or series.
Ian and/or Katz reported earlier in the Summer that despite the eligibility (some people keep thinking it's a deadline), neither side are in a rush to ink a new deal, which suggests to me that it's an inevitability. CA loves him, Leon loves him, Dolan loves him, his teammates love him. With the information available to us, a deal gets done. The why doesn't manner.
While I can still see a trade still happening, This scenario is certainly possible as well.
