Would be interesting to go back and see how accurate these are now that they've been doing it for multiple years.StickeeFingaz wrote:I’ve seen a few of the “all in one” metrics predicting win totals for this year and they really dislike the Bucks. I just don't agree with this at all. We're talking about like, the 8th most important player on this roster at best. If Marjon/AJJ don't amount to anything then you just slide Pat in there. That's not even mentioning Beasley and Crowder as additional proven rotation dudes. Now if you wanna say that a lot of the future is hinging on Marjon/AJJ turning into legit rotation guys past this current 2-year window, then sure, absolutely.

In 2015 someone here posted something that flipped my point of view on which should be a team's priority ... offense or defense ? I know there must be some balance BUT where do u start from and set up your priorities.
<snip>
So I encountered a wise real GM poster that said here something like this "its called basketball, not defenseball or assistball, you have to score the basket." ... That post just helped me realise that elite offense just beats the ef out of elite defense . . .

I may have overstated the importance of their immediate development. I am just concerned about the lack of point of attack/perimeter defense currently on the roster. I would love to be wrong, just nervous I guess. I am incredibly excited and anxious to see this team play, the wait is almost over.

Lol
This has been brewing for some time. I could smell it in his comments last season and he even slighted us in our finals year by just not doing pods after our biggest moments.
Bottom line: He's scared. Celtics basketball is all that remains of his frontrunner fan pedigree. This HAS to be a chip soon or none of his teams matter. He loved that we were running back the same old core unit and then old Horsty flipped the table over.
He is REALLY banking on this White/Holiday defensive savior angle. He asks Doc: "Dont you just feel like with those two, a guy like Dame will come to town and have a hard time?"
