Is Jabari enough of a rim protector to play next to KAT? In theory - OG/Jabari as a pairing in the front court could make a lot of sense. But for the deal to make sense there needs to be a follow up flipping the picks and using the balance of Bridges salary slot for a shooting guard who provides secondary shot creation.
Brunson/(insert shooting guard)/Anunoby/Jabari/Towns
McBride/Hart/Robinson off the bench
No but Jabari AND Kessler would make an excellent combination to surround KAT with. JJJ would be ideal but a Kessler/Jabari tandem would accomplish many of the things you would look for to best complement KAT as well.
But wouldn't OG be the odd man out here? OG doesn't have enough ball skills to be a SG. Mikal is at least passable in that role. I also have some questions about Jabari as a 3.
I guess in theory, could Jabari be part of the package that goes to Utah for Kessler or can Jabari be flipped elsewhere for a better fitting player. For example - Jabari ends up in Sacramento with Monk heading to NY as well as a pick heading to Toronto for Agbaji.
Brunson/Agbaji/Anunoby/Towns/Kessler
McBride/Monk/Hart/Robinson
Has Agbaji been rumored or is that just your idea? He's underrated, about to break out. Not a star but solid two way game, can hit the three. And Toronto has a surplus of wings
