In the end, it comes down to talent, roster construction, so the talented pieces compliment each other's skill set and provide the diverse set of useful skills across the rotation
Agreed. I think he's missing the forest for the trees to an extent too though. The main thing you still need in the playoffs is guys that can hit clutch shots for you in isolation and these could come from anywhere on the court. It still often comes down to that ultimately.
