I found this from a guy who used to post here. Interesting post from a guy who I felt knew his college football. Or maybe he just knew it better then me. Lol

"I'm kind of coming to a similar place on Josh Allen that I did with DaRon Payne last year. I didn't love him from his cut ups at first, but the more I see of him, the more I like him. It's hard to describe the nature of his impact until you see it with your own eyes. Payne was kind of an opposite situation--his off the charts physical talent was right there in your face but his stat production was unimpressive. But the intangibles are similar. Being the leader and the soul of a truly badass defense. They both share that. And they were/are both such obvious fits for us in particular.
It was like a month or maybe two before the draft last April when I came to the conclusion that Payne was going to be our pick if he was there and I made a couple of posts predicting that he was going to be our guy. And I made some posts with gifs to demonstrate his talent against the arguments of people who were skeptical about him. I ended up being right, and the reason I felt so sure that we would pick Payne is because he demonstrated the perfect intersection of talent + fit for us. His skill set matched exactly what we were looking for in a one technique. That is the kind of feeling I'm getting with Josh Allen. I think he's going to be near the top of our draft board.
So then the questions become:
- Will he still be there when we pick? If we in this thread can see how good he is, you can be pretty sure that NFL people can see it too. (not always though)
- Will he make it through the season and predraft process healthy and with no off the field stumbles?
- Will there be someone else who is even more talented or who is an even better fit for us available at our pick?
Just to name a few names, if one or more of Greedy Williams, Jonah Williams, Tevon Coney, Dalton Risner are sitting there when we pick, then it becomes a really tough call.
And the more we win, the less likely it becomes we'll have a shot at any of these players. Although people do seem to be sleeping on Coney and Risner for some reason."

I'm putting it here so I can refer to it when choosing what games to watch on Saturdays. And for anyone else interested.

Tsze-Kung asked, "Is there one word which may serve as a rule of practice for all one's life?"
The Master said, "Is not Reciprocity such a word? What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others."
