I don't think so, at least from what was reported Indiana just received additional compensation.

LeBron isn't going to sit back and watch superteams get formed elsewhere. Rumorville has it that the Lakers and couple other teams are interested in Bradley Beal.

But what do they have to deal for Beal? They've got no picks, no young star and nothing really of value to a rebuilding team. It's nice to want beal but the guy in their price range is oladipo.

They would have to use an additional team or two to be part of the deal. The only young guys on their roster I see with value are Kuzma and THT, but they'll have to give up Pope and Schroeder to have enough room for Beal.

Could be that he was having some symptoms in that area and they thought it might have been a muscle issue.

But like you said, if a team like Miami has a better deal, then LA won't matter.

If Kyrie stops being a rebel with a confused cause, that's 70-100 pts a night from these 3 players easily.

The one specific time where I think Ainge should've just gone for it, was when MIN had to move Butler. Hayward plus Rozier would've gotten it done

I don't see why Minnesota would have done that. Hayward was negative value back then, and the deal would have been really complicated. He was making something like $10mil more than Jimmy and had more years left. Minnesota would have been pretty much guaranteeing they'd be in the luxury tax once KAT's deal kicked in, too. No way they do that for a washed up looking Hayward. Rozier's value was pretty much nonexistent too then.

Jimmy's value might have gone down, but it was still positive. A Covington+Saric package had solid value back then.

People were actually trashing Ainge the most for not getting Paul George, and then later Kawhi. Theoretically, he could have given up Brown and Tatum to put together Kyrie/PG/Kawhi…imagine Kawhi trying to deal with Kyrie

The Nets main problem though is they can't stop most teams. They have to play high scoring games where they have the most points.

they'd love to be able to get a good trade return for kyrie right about now. there are plenty of possessions for 2 big time scorers. not for 3 unless they bring one off the bench and stagger minutes

That's horrible! Why would Washington give up Rui and Beal in a deal? If they wanted to get a 1st for Rui they could just do that. Why would it be in a beal deal. You're just ripping off Washington more. And taking every bit of depth from LA.
