Are we assuming Gortat is a goner? I haven't been up to date with the rumors lately...

Is there anybody in their right mind who would do that?

Does Favors even want to stay IN Utah?
The guy should be starting since start of this year... but is playing 3rd best big behind Jefferson, Milsap.
Gortat + Dragic for Favors!!

I don't understand the reasoning for this trade at all. If the Suns trade any of their assets they need to be getting young prospects on rookie deals or quality picks. Trading for a couple of win now players that are UFA at years end accomplishes nothing. If the Suns really want Milsap or Jefferson they can pursue one of them in FA to team them up with Gortat and Dudley.
I think a deal centered around Burks and Marshall may have some merit though.

Then, we miss the playoffs and lose Gortat for nothing next season.
Book it.
We're committed to aiming for ninth. We have great dedication like that.

Does this work for everyone ? May be a draft pick can be sprinkled in if someone feels short changed.
Trying to find a home for Beasley is a challenge.... theGORTAT as well as his value is cloudy and market is slim. Phnx pretty much bags it at the C spot, relying on old bones ONeal and a cast of PF stand ins.
Have at it..... Something is bound to happen with a few of these guys.
You bag on our trades ideas, yet throw up this steaming pile of sh*t?
No way does Boston ONLY give up Lee/Sullinger for Gortat. Undervalue much?!?!?!?

Yeah, no kidding. Frank, I certainly applaud your effort. It is really nice to see you offer up something constructive. That said, I found this very humorous given your responses to most everyone else's trade offers.

Gortat + Dragic for Favors!!
This would be the worst trade ever.
Wrong
Gortat + Dragic + Suns 2013 pick for Favors is clearly worse.
Dragic is the sweetener as they love good white PGs over there.
Gortat will walk or ask near max anyways... I rather max Favors who is 21 years old and much better than Gottat already... I'm sensing next star big man in the league.

I like a lot Gerald Henderson, I think he can be a good SG in our team for years to come, very solid, with huge IQ.
I like Henderson a lot too.
Would definitely love to get him here! Would be great to get him here without giving up Dragic, Dudley or Gortat. But I can't see that happening :/

I like it too. I think Charlotte is still infatuated with Biyombo though, and if they're committed to a youth movement that trade wouldn't be great for them.

No way would I add marshal, his rare combination of size, passing, and athleticism is only seen 3 times every draft.

Haha... I knew when I tossed a deal out you guys would hop right on it. I concede it was a stinker. I would like a player like Granger or Iguodala on this team though. We are woefully un-athletic right now. And I would give up theG to get one. Trade for Granger this yr, and sign up Iggy next ? That is the kind of plan we need.
But dont downplay Drew Gooden for Measley.... where else can they both go ? And Gooden would end up being a soild contributor, as he is EVERYWHERE he has played. He is better than Morris and completely on par with Scola. Gooden played pretty well the last part of last season, often at C, if I remember. I contend he is more valuable than Measley. Who has negative value.
I am also going to say Marshall is worth virtually nothing.
I havent checked what his DLeague stats are, but I assume if he was lighting them up like he should be, as most promising rooks do down there... it would be posted. Any news from his 'progress' ? My 'Bust' meter is ticking.
Edit... seem my Marshall mentions are mimicking the comments in his 'titled' thread. People forget he was surrounded by 4 pro-level college players at NC. No surprises he had a lot of assists. Another whif?

It was a real stinker. Im surprised nobody waived a dead cat in front of you.
I was actually thinking of PHX/IND trades yesterday and was wondering about something more along the lines of:
Gortat/Frye/Marshall/Johnson for Hibbert/Granger.
We all know that they just gave Hibbert a huge contract based off of what he did last year, but this year he has looked like udder sh*t. Lots of rumblings about how they might have made a mistake and overpaid him. If they could snag Gortat (who is currently out preforming him at almost $7M cheaper), i think they just might go for it. They are trying to contend and Hibbert has been holding them back. As for Granger, they would LOVE to dump him. They already have his replacement in George, who is on a rookie contract, and they dont know how Granger will even preform, as he has been out all year with an injury. Thats $13M not being used. Marshall gives them a PG prospect, Frye gives them a stretch big (next year), and Johnson gives them an extra $4.3M salary dump.
We then draft accordingly and fill in the gaps. Dragic/??????/Granger/???????/Hibbert.
