And "The Hive" Charlotte Coliseum was the place to be, they were consistently near the top of the league in attendance and, having been there in person in the Muggsy/Curry/LJ/Mourning era, can attest to it being one of the loudest arenas I've ever been in. Shame what has happened to the franchise, it's a basketball town that just needs one good team to bring the fan magic back.
It’s weird. Charlotte can attract fans. Charlotte FC has been killing it. During the Cam years Panthers stadium was booming. You just can’t have a terrible team for 2 decades or people will lose interest(maybe the lose it faster in Charlotte as Panthers games don’t do well these days either.)
