Granted I haven't seen a ton of Clipper games, but I don't know if he's also the physical perimeter defender that the Magic need at shooting guard. Unless Jameer grows six inches & learns how to fight over a screen (honestly it's PAINFUL to watch his P&R defense), then his backcourt mate needs to be a Shane Battier defender/shooter type... Corey certainly has the the tools to play this role, but my impression of his career thus far has not yielded those kind of results.
Maggette is a fit because the Magic do not have a go to guy. Currently, the Magic have three starters that "chip in" 20 ppg. But none has a particularly dominant "move." Unbelievably, there is actually space for a forth 20 ppg guy on the Magic starting roster.
What if:
Nelson - 12 ppg
Maggette - 18 ppg
Turkoglu - 19 ppg
Lewis - 21 ppg
Howard - 22 ppg
Bench - 27 ppg
That sums to 119 ppg. (of course these averages exclude injury minutes, so let's call it 110 ppg).
Maggette is an offensive fit and is not a defensive liability.

Livingston had essentially every ligament, bone, muscle tear, skin rupture; a person can have and the leg actually stay attracted to the body. Go to Youtube again and see the horror of what looks like an NFL-type injury. Sadly, Livingston is damaged. Full stop (period).

I can't stand Nate Robinson. I think he is a piece of trash.
