I've seen Wiggy's aggression and his 1st scoring option mentality b4, maybe it wasn't much of a fair sample size but that's what he did in his first hoop summit game, it wasn't really an all star format either since they were running some plays in that game, basically a lot of plays ran thru him, especially in catch and shoot sets, a few PnRs, and him excelling on the open court, and defensively he was beasting on the glass too. Last game, he was doing the same on the glass but missing some easy 2nd chance points in the process but he was doing all he could there, plus he was well covered due to the fact that no teammates set screen for him to get open, and point guard kept looking him off.
Tbh, Kansas team is all about playing your role within the system, sharing the basketball in the entire shot-clock, that's pretty much what college players do, share, swing around, I bet a guy like Selden if he played on a team that requires him to score, he would attack/slash a lot more, the wing players aren't suited to system like this where they have to swing the ball around constantly, sure they have to create ball movement, but rarely there's much of screen sets running for Wiggy to get open, I say Wiggy's the type that needs set plays to get the fire going, something to make him feel he's a part of the offense, and he isn't selfish enough to do it his way to conflict the system either, especially when the team has so many scorers that he felt he doesn't need to do it on his own, when he's in the NBA, you place him as 1st option, then you will see the alpha dog mentality, I've seen it b4 and he was brilliant at it.
