I disagree, I actually believe his SI letter is honest. I've always had the feeling he'd want to return to Ohio and make things right, he never felt comfortable about the backlash and he's always been very connected to the area. I honestly believe Wade could be in his prime right now and LeBron would've left.
He used us to get the championship monkey off of his back, knowing it'd haunt him forever if he never won. But he never had the intention of leaving Cleveland itself.
You could be right but we will never know....
I will say that if Wade was declining gradually and not rapidly he would still easily be the best player that LeBron could play with (now I am assuming that they are going to get Kevin Love).
Honestly man, imagine he had gone to Houston to play with Harden and Howard. They had the opportunity to offer him a max contract and, in my opinion, a stronger roster than the current Cavs. But he opted against it, it was always down between us and the Cavs, although I think it was the Cavs from the get-go for sentimental reasons.
Yeah, but a 3rd team was out of the question because of legacy reasons. He couldn't jump ship again and go to Houston. I ain't even mad but feel that the roster pull was as big or bigger than the home pull especially if they get Kevin Love, that's all.
