In most situations, you aren't getting assets for a reclamation project. Imagine DEN was estatic to get anything for Mud last year.
Do you know who is responsible for them becoming reclamation projects? Their own teams! Denver gave up on Mudiay the moment they drafted Jamal Murray and committed to him. Phoenix gave up on Bender the moment they drafted Ayton and committed to him. Common theme is they gave up on their lotto picks. Teams do that, they look for upgrades. Only the Knicks aren't allowed to do that though, we must commit long term even if we have opportunities to upgrade and move on from our mistakes.
