You know me for 9 years, you should know. I'm not bluffing. I would take him over Chet at #1 overall.
I'll make an ample post about him after he's drafted, hopefully by me.

I've narrowed it down to two guys based on the evidence. 90% sure its one of the guys I am also looking hard at and 10% for the other guy I have no interest in.

You're just bluffing to try to make a deal.

No bluff. Lol

The guy you are going after should be obvious by now. Unless you were bluffing before about him trending up. I know based on your recent selection characteristics. :) If I don't nab him at 6th, I will get him at 8 if he is still there.

You're most likely getting:

Tyus Jones
Malcolm Brogdon
Mikal Bridges
Jayson Tatum
Kyle Kuzma
Rui Hachimura
Dewayne Dedmon
Chris Boucher
Montrezl Harrell
Gary Harris
Lamarcus Aldridge
Nassir Little
Patrick Beverley
De'Aron Fox
Dejounte Murray
Cole Anthony
Tobias Harris
Jimmy Butler
Clint Capela
Derrick Jones Jr.
Damian Lillard
Joe Harris
Pat Connaughton
Michael Porter Jr.
Jalen McDaniels

That's 25 guys. Before the draft starts, you need to trim your roster down to 20 guys(need to cut 5).
Then whenever you take advantage of a pick, you need to cut a player as well(so you don't surpass more than 20 bodies overall on your team).

You own #7 and #18 in this year's draft. Keep in mind when drafting and dropping guys, this is a dynasty league with no keepers.
You'll inherit the same roster sans the moves you make year in and year out.

If you don't like the players from this draft I'm interested in dealing for #7.

Thanks for the heads up. Will definitely be looking to shake the squad up a little bit.

Reading back through the read, I assume the additional 5 guys on the team are due to the INJ status of other players?

Is there a list of rules for the league in a past thread or is it all laid out in the Yahoo (once I hopefully have access)?

Yeah. Once our rosters are set on Yahoo, you get 5 IL spots(3 IL+ and 2 IL). You can then add additional players if you have guys who are injured.

So technically you can carry 25 players at a time, but at the beginning of the season when Ty manually uploads the rosters on Yahoo, the number needs to be 20.

Some of the rules:

-H2H 20 week regular season schedule. 6 team playoffs, first two seeds get bye's in the first round
-6 roster transactions per week
-you can only trade your picks one year in advance(so if you want to make trades with picks involved, you can only trade the 2023 picks right now)
-the yearly rookie draft is a snake draft. Lottery odds are all the same, the non 6 playoff teams get the same ping pong balls to discourage tanking
-in the draft you can either select guys from the upcoming rookie pool, or guys who are on the league's waiver wire

When can we cut the trash off our rosters? I'm getting sick of opening up the app and looking at Alvarado and Satoransky.

Let's just do the draft this year and cut the guys after the FA's end(whoever wants that, you can do it earlier if you want but it won't matter anyway since Yahoo starts up the new year's league sometimes at the beginning of September).

I know we used to cut guys before we did the draft so they become eligible to be drafted by other guys, but as you said, most are trash so it's very rarely happening that a cut guy makes his way to a roster.

95%of the guys drafted are always rookies.

I know my guy so it doesn't matter where he ends up. I'd take him right now if I could. I don't need the SL or the real draft to tell me otherwise.

****, some of you bums might get ideas. tugs got his underwear dirty last year for Duarte after the Summer League, anybody knows this. I don't need a **** clown show league to sway opinions. If you're not set on a guy now, you don't deserve to have him later.

You all passed on Franz Wagner because of Summer League. No one can tell me otherwise.
