Will be looking forward to the reflective assessment comparison in a season or two! Feel free to bookmark it if you like and we can revisit it more in depth.

Im not saying they wont be good but at THIS point you absolutely cannot be taking a victory lap that they have worked out and met their potential lol
For sure it's fair to withhold an assessment for the outcome of whether or not they've met their potential, But even on the premise of a surface level assessment based on a smaller sample size comparison between just the last two drafts with Ishbia on board and Geegory as draft advisor wherein we identified not only Toumani Camara in the late 2nd round.
But the following draft we also identified Ryan Dunn and Oso Ighodaro too. Now compare that to Jones' watch where in 21' he traded our 29th pick, passing on players like Herb Jones, Miles McBride, and Day'Ron Sharpe in interest of Landry Shamet and then overpaid for him before even establishing market value.
And then in 2022, not even acquiring a draft pick in the entire draft. And the comparison is pretty glaringly not in favor of Jones tenure prior to Ishbias' acquisition and Gregory's participation too.
Honestly, in Jones 8 yrs as our GM, how many drafts did he actually successfully hit on?? I ask this because clearly, in only two years under new representation ( draft scouting, talent assessment, etc) we're 2 for 2 now and might ge 3 for 3 if these prospects pan out even reasonably.
My point in this comparison is the disparity of value outcome between the two samples even if small as an indicator of premised effort related success vs the previous self admitted disinterest and undervaluing if the whole process. The value payoff resulting from the work/ investment put in.
