If Kyrie Irving is missing games for personal reasons, or for his quest to inform about injustice, couldn't the nets void his contract for breach of contract. I've always been curious about things like this. The Nets go into a contract in good faith expecting Kyrie to play basketball. If Kyrie is unavailable to do so for other reasons than an injury aren't the Nets in their legal rights to terminate that contract.
Not saying the Nets should just curious if they could.

your trading for 1.5 years of fat harden...at least simmons is under control and he might be the best defensive player in the NBA. Sure he has his limitations but I don't want Harden holding my organization hostage.
What happens if Philly trades for him and they lose in the playoffs does Harden cry that his teammates in Philly aren't good enough to win too?

I would take the risk. You’re not going anywhere far in the playoffs with Ben Simmons.

The same could be said about Harden. I will take the younger, more in shape, less diva player and try to figure it out. There is no way Harden will get into good enough shape this year...I just wouldn't trust him...he seems like he throwing games right now to get his way. Too much of a risk for me.

Harden was one game away from reaching the finals. Simmons never made it out the second round. He always gets exposed in the playoffs. Eventually the Sixers are going to pick between Embiid and Simmons. Might as well trade Simmons for a superstar while the opportunity is there.

I mean the sixers where one crazy Kawhi shot away from getting to the conference finals. They took the raptors 7 games.
I think that roster made much more sense for sixers then last years roster where they traded Butler for trash.
I wouldn't be opposed to trade Simmons I just wouldn't trust Harden at this point.
