Once Brett Brown finds a way to adjust to the roster changes or some trades are made, they'll be back up. But with what I just read in their game thread, you'd think we blew them out. The only difference in this game was ONE free throw. It was a close game on a b2b for both teams. They matchup well against Boston and Milwaukee. Very strong defensive team.

Note: In this sequence, Jason Richardson missed the FT and it didn't touch the rim, a big fuss was made about it but I can't find out what happened.Spoiler:

I think what you read over there (I went there too, couldn't help it) was a slow burn that has been culminating for a couple seasons. They've lost a tremendous amount of wing talent the past two years, and its showing offensively. First, Marco and Ilyasova, then Butler, JJ and RoCo. That's a ton of savvy, veteran talent that they could really use right now. They are a lesser version of their peak selves, which only lasted roughly a season and a half. Not sure what their cap situation looks like, but I think they're pissed about missed opportunities with the players who've left them, and now its a game to game frustration for them knowing what they had for a roster.

somerandomdude wrote:Just finished watching it, and I must say: that was a weird sequence and three major lapses (the Butler missed FT, the Dragic foul, and the DJJ failure to box out). I think the worst part is that it won't sting and we won't learn anything from it because we won. I think a loss here would've been very sobering and they would've been better for having to experience it. I'll take the W, but I really hope they understand just how this could've easily been an L and probably should've been.
