Curse at Small Forward Spot

I don't know what it is about the small forward spot on this team, but it looks like Chris Douglas-Roberts was trying to play through injury this season. Wasn't the Achilles' also Jared Dudley's ailment?

Ever since Corey Maggette left, the small forward spot for the Clippers has been horrendous. This might be a spot that can only be solved by either Blake Griffin transitioning to the small forward, or they go after a superstar small forward.

My reason of why I don't want to see the other guys - Gerald Green, Jeff Green, Arron Afflalo, and the like - play the small forward is mainly the fear of having to face an Achielles issue (re: Chauncey Billups). Clippers seem to be better off using point guards, shooting guards and power forwards masquerading at the 3.

Yeah, Dudley had knee tendinitis all season and did the same thing. Not sure CDR would have changed much to start the season, but we certainly can use his length and defense if Barnes isn't producing.

I've said this before, but I think Doc should really press hard for Ray Allen to sign. I know that he isn't exactly a small forward, but he would suffice. He could even offer him the starting job.

I've said this before, but I think Doc should really press hard for Ray Allen to sign. I know that he isn't exactly a small forward, but he would suffice. He could even offer him the starting job.

I don't think Ray wants to go through with the rigors of regular season, I would think he would like to sign with a contender for one more run at the ring, at least past the all stars.

but does anyone ever wonder what exactly is the issue with our doctors and training staff? how do you make a trade every year that botches medical clearance? they should have never passed the physical. some less civilized can cry about some irrational superstitions but clearly this is an area that needs to improve in a hurry especially for a team that relies on CP3 and Blake's shaky knees.
unless NBA makes trades before examining players involved, I cannot forgive Dudley getting traded to us hurt, and now CDR coming to us already hurt again. fire our medical staff and start new.

but everybody knew dwight was going to have surgery ahead of the summer. the lakers took that risk on themselves.

We are a long way from playoffs so I think we should rest all our injured players and let them heal fully. Dudley never got the chance to heal because we kept playing him. Let's blood Bullock and give him some 24+ minute games.

Even though CDR is injured I'm not expecting him to be our saviour when he is healthy.

you are assuming that these guys (Dudley and CDR) were already injured when the Clippers got them. It could be that they got injured in training camp or that the injuries are just a cover for their bad play and that they are exagerrating the extent of the injuries to save face
