First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

Speculation around the league keeps swirling that Redskins coach Joe Gibbs will walk away after this season. But in talking to the Redskins, they do not get that sense. They feel Gibbs will return to fulfill the last year of his contract, that he will be back to try to make this franchise right for Redskins owner Daniel Snyder before he walks away. But know this: Gibbs will get to coach this team as long as he wants. Snyder is not doing to Gibbs what he did to Norv Turner, Marty Schottenheimer and Steve Spurrier. Gibbs gets to make the call on how long he patrols the Redskins sideline.
