Who doesn't belong

All but two of those guys have made an all-nba team. Wesbrook BTW has been on 2 back to back 2nd teams.

George and Harden are the two that haven't.

Harden averages 26pts, 5.8ast, 5rebs, 44% from the field and 37% behind the arc with a 60% TS. 22.9 PER. All of it as the clear cut number 1 option on his team.

George averages 17.4pts, 4st, 7.6rbs, 42% from the field and 36% behind the arc with a .53% TS. 16.8 PER with sharing go to guy with David West who helps takes some pressure off of George.

Yeah Harden is the better player.

George is definitely a stud and still has potential, but he is not as good as Westbrook, Curry or Harden yet.

And that's all she wrote folks.

Too bad I'm not a she ummmm........... I still got something to say

1.)On that list, as great as Duncan and Dirk were, nobody is a superstar. If you want to throw out career accolades then George is done. George was really good this year, I'll give you the last two.

2.) @Red-Bulls83, those are some nice offensive stats, why didn't you talk about defense

3.) How about we wait until we see the All-NBA list for THIS year before we start talking about that

4.) @Red-Bulls83 you really think that Curry is better than George. I bet the reason is offensive.

You're wasting your time trying to convince me that George is the better player than Westbrook, or ever will be.

Did Paul George buy you a car or something?

Onto to the bigger issue. Give Rose and Thibs the Clippers roster, and we get out of the East every year.

He isn't now, but he easily could be within the next 2 years. Westy is in his 5th year, George is 2 years younger and just in his 3rd, and George doesn't have to be as good offensively as Westbrook to be a similar caliber player, he's better by far defensively and as a rebounder, plus he's a better passer for a swing than Westy is for a point guard. If George can put up 20 ppg on slightly better efficiency than he does now than he's absolutely comparable to players like Westbrook when you consider the game of basketball is played on both sides of the court.

Keep in mind that George plays on a slow paced halfcourt team, put him on a team that plays as fast paced as the Thunder and he can already give you 20 ppg probably, he's a great fastbreak player, and doesn't necessarily get to showcase that as much in Indiana as he could in say Houston or OKC.

You act like George is Scottie Pippen, and Westbrook is chopped liver. Give me Westbrook's athleticism and overall game at the PG position, then figure out the rest.

George has a lot of catching up to do.

You're also forgetting to add how Westbrook turns entire defenses into mush when he's on the attack. Paul George doesn't have that capability. He's a nice young player, but lets not overrate the kid until after the playoffs.

@pmonster
The argument was that George is better or as good as those guys already. And yeah I already said he is a great defensive player, but harden doesn't suck at it and curry is getting better. He is better than those guys defensively but he's not close offensively. He very good and on the rise and COULD become better than both those guys, but he isn't TODAY.

George could be Scottie someday, compare their 3rd seasons

Pippen 16.5 ppg 6.7 rebounds 5.4 assists 52.8% TS
George 17.4 ppg 7.6 rpg 4.1 apg 53% TS

Both elite defenders, and Pip was 24/25 in his 3rd season.

I just noticed the Clipper and Grizzlies have the exact same record... I mean the exact same record both home and away.. Both teams 32-9 at home and 24-17 on the road.
