Sure we will. We do this every 12-24 months. Remember the Kobe and Amare hype?

We were well fed in the '90s. Until we feast again we'll...

So what's with this latest rumor of LeBron house shopping?

It appears this one seems to actually have legs

The Gasol hype before that was big too.

The Gasol traded to the Lakers thread was pretty fun, I was furious in that one. Good times.

Nothing more than Jordan accompanying James around Highland Park on a driving tour to show him all the mansions of the lonely housewives that sit around and wait for "company" while their husbands are at work.

Of course James was respectful, and nodded the entire time, but really only made note of the women who were 45 or younger, feeling that they could still have daughters who were living at home.

He has a tour scheduled with Patrick Ewing next week and is really looking forward to his meeting with Tim Hardaway in mid-June.

Intangibles.

Sounds like MJ should have brought Delonte along.

TMZ did obtain a photograph of a "cyclist" that followed the car for more than two hours.

"The New York Daily News points out that Curry's involvement in the recruit of James may be a bad thing for the Knicks.

Curry had a famous falling-out with head coach Mike D'Antoni."

LMAO Tell him the bad news, Eddy! Look out for your hometown.
Just a must-watch army of possessed ass-kickers laying the smack down night after night after night. People are gonna hate playing the Bulls this year.

I want one of those. Two wheeled bike kind of freaks me out - but I think that thing is more built for a gigantic human such as myself.

Christ son - did you forget nearly 800 pages of Amare and the return of Black Jesus. BJ was more elusive than that mormon Jesus that was hanging out with the Indians in YellowStone Natl Park.

Yea... Since this is the gossip thread at this point, I figured it'd be worth posting... someone just called in to Mully and Hanley claiming that his wife is a realtor and had heard that LBJ was in town on Saturday (LBJ himself - supposedly) with some "associates" looking at houses in Highland Park.

He said he didn't think much of it till Mark Schanowski mentioned it at the end of Sports Night last night, apparently.

I was taking a shower this morning when Lebron stuck his head in and asked how good the water pressure was and how many bathrooms we had. I tried to get his autograph but as you might imagine didn't have a pen.

It should also probably put a kibosh on the media love for the Bulls, expect them to get tired of that and start drooling over John Wall.

There's also the worrisome scenario of Cleveland being gifted someone on draft day, akin to a bottom of the 9th game winning grand slam; much like the lakers were gifted Pau.

And finally, the cavs convincing Phil to jump ship and coach the team, thus convincing lebron to stay.

Those are the 3 factors that I think could derail this whole seemingly endless flow of good news/press/vibes. Hopefully one of these factors will be eliminated tomorrow.

I would think it's far more likely (not that I find either scenario likely) that Phil would come here to coach LeBron than Cleveland, but what do I know.

And I still don't understand what people are worried about when they talk about the big spending owner in NJ. There's a salary cap in basketball... and if anyone has players on cheap contracts right now that will need to be (namely Noah and Rose, and I really don't have any doubts that they will be if we have LeBron and a true title team/contender) extended into the tax, it's the Bulls. Where exactly does that owner's money come into play other than in facilities and coaching?

There is no way in hell that Phil is moving to Cleveland.

Well the owner can put players up at 5 star hotels, make sure they have their own nice plane for trips, make sure they know where all the best parties are at, introduce them to plenty of other wealthy people. Perks, for instance Mark Cuban had ergonomic chairs installed on the Mavericks sidelines, video games & dvd players installed in their lockers, an asst coach for every player...stuff like that.

LeBron buying a house in Highland Park. I'm sorry, let me rephrase that: LEBRON BUYING A HOUSE IN HIGHLAND PARK.

There was a report on WWW from yesterday on Outside the Lines and they interviewed some guy who was friends with Wes and talked to him and he said that Wes is laughing off this whole "LeBron will be pick his coach" idea and pointed out that he has never done so in the past. Who knows, it's not like he would tell anyone the opposite, but figured i'd throw it out there.

Do you live in Highland Park? Because that would confirm a few other stories we've heard and wrap everything up nicely.
