In pick up basketball I hate playing with guys who are clearly the better players on the court. I want to beat them not be on their team. I compare this to Lebron joining the Bulls.

IDK why you guys are so hung up on Wade/James/Bosh teaming up. If i remember correctly, YOU WERE TRYING TO DO THE EXACT SAME THING in 2010. The Bulls had the cap space to sign multiple stars. Would you still be *****ing if you had a line up of Rose/Wade/James also all in their primes? Try being a little objective for once.

No worries. You probably don't know a lot of things.

If i remember correctly, YOU WERE TRYING TO DO THE EXACT SAME THING in 2010.

You remember incorrectly. But that was before June 28, 2010. ;)

The Bulls had the cap space to sign multiple stars.

Wait, are you talking about ME or the Bulls?

Would you still be *****ing if you had a line up of Rose/Wade/James also all in their primes?

Depends on what ******ing means?

Try being a little objective for once.

No.

From games like yesterday's, where they scared the Pacers into discoloring their drawers. The Heat defensive pressure is fabulous, for which Spo surely deserves credit (but never receives), but also the Heat's athleticism.

I didn't even get one real answer. And my join date was before wade/bosh/james signed. Attack me personally all you want, you still haven't proved me wrong. And kyrv, I meant the Bulls.

Well ill tell you this I wanted the Bulls to sign Lee/Bosh and Joe Johnson as they both fit glaring holes the Bulls had. I never wanted Wade or James if that answers your question.

You are right, no one gave you a real answer......

But my argument is : that a guy who is the best ( Lebron) should never join a top 3-5 player ( Wade)..... especially not if they are the best players from their conference.....
I said it multiple times, if I was Lebron I would leave Cleveland too and I would go WITH Bosh to a good team, but no Wade... how can you claim that you are the best, if you join a top 3-5 and top 10-15 player....

and even Chicago would be ok, because Rose wasnt a top 10 player at this time....

That's kind of just how it is. If LeBron/Bosh joined the Bulls in 2010 I'm pretty sure they'd be a pretty hated team, and of course I'd root for them.

It still would have hurt LeBron's legacy in my eyes, but again, I'd root for him.

See for me I didn't care one bit about the legacy aspect(and I still don't think it will hurt anyones legacy), All i care about was Basketball Immortality. No one remembers the details, only the fact that you won. And Wade already led a team to a championship, so i had no problem with him stepping aside for Lebron. But that's not what matters anyway, because I care more about The Miami Heat's legacy more than any individuals.

Are you suggesting Bulls fans would root for the Bulls???!!!???

You have blown my mind.

Any of the d-bags who had joined the Bulls, it wouldn't be flop fest, and the Bulls didn't tamper, so I guess that would have helped the integrity of the league, if it's high enough to even worry about.

Just like, Rodman joining the Bulls made it a cleaner league. Rodman didn't play dirty on the Bulls. Different culture.

As a connoisseur of snarky, point by point takedowns, I appreciated every bit of this.

However, I predict being more than a little bored with all the inevitable Wade's knee stories that are going to be clogging up my feed when the Heat lose the series.

So I'm actively looking for ways to be entertained here, before the Finals narrative becomes one of the Heat's failure instead of the Spurs' success.

Wade has already taken a page from Kobe's book "I'm not going to talk about how injured I am and how much pain I'm in and how it's a struggle to play.".

you clearly underestimate the spurs and overestimate cryami's 5 out garbage style of play and over aggressive amateur defense. probably will be done in 5

you know what really grinds my gears?

when ESPN calls LeBron the best player on the planet.

yeah I know he's the best player in the league, which in extension means he's the best in the world.

but stop making it sound so dramatic, ESPN LeBron fluffers!

Jo Jo English

Without googling the quote I can still remember the gist of it.

A question asked to Jordan regarding contact on a last second shot by the Hornets and whether or not their was contact with the arm...

"Oh yeah. I got his arm. I got his whole arm."

Ah Mourning. I remember during the second 3-Peat when Zo fouled Pippen extra hard. I think pip had to leave the game or something. The heat even won that game. After the game when Jordan was asked about it he said, "It's personal now."(That's how I remember it at least, the quote.) The next game when the teams went to go shake hands at center court Alonzo put his hand out for Jordan to shake and MJ did not oblige. Bulls swept the rest of that series and I believe Jordan had over 40 that game. I would look up the box score but don't want to screw up a story with facts.
Once Jordan said it was personal, I took it that way. I have hated the heat ever since. Sucks now because I live here amongst the bandwagon fans.

Wow, I wish I watched Jordan back in the day. Man, you guys are real lucky! NBA Finals start on the 6th, which is lucky, becauseeee....my last exam is on the 6th. Lets go spurs!

Also, wasn't able to watch the game yesterday because it was on at 1:30am where I live and I had an exam, can anyone tell me what the reffing was like?
