Okurs garbage...Only way ide want him on the team is if he was a developmental coach for Asik...Dont want him on our team especially after tearing his achille tendon...I ruptured mine and had surgery 5 months ago....its not joke especially for a large nba player who is already slow...(im only 23)

I would do Deng for Okur in a New York minute. Okur's sucky contract ends alot sooner.

If Deng was trade for Occur it would definitely signal that lebron to the bulls is a strong possibility. No way would the bulls deal Deng for another C without having a SF in mind. Maybe Deng for Okur + Boozer in a sign and trade.

unless Deng is outgoing, I do not like the look of Okur's contract very much. So this would mean LeBron/Carmelo would have to replace Deng.

I guess we'll need to wait and see what happens before we know the answer to that. I don't remember all the rumors posted off the top of my head except for Deng for Gortat/Pietrus.

I don't believe for a second that we would invest $21 million just for a mentor -- and a mentor for a player who's not even certain to be an impact NBA player. If we're looking at Okur we'd better be damned sure that he can play next season, AND we'd better be damned sure that we're getting Lebron.
