Chicago Bulls, In Memoriam (1999 - 2008)

Post#1 » by blumeany » Wed Mar 23, 2011 1:53 pm

Let us celebrate the memory of those Chicago Bulls, post-dynasty, who gave up their careers so that we may be where we are now.

1999
Kornel David

Image

Was actually a 7 day veteran of the 1997 team. Spent a lockout season and part of the next season with the Bulls. Was best remembered for his first name that was easily redesigned into a 'Hormel' label. If the fans had cared enough, they may have created such a sign to hold up at the United Center.

October 1, 1997: Signed as a free agent with the Chicago Bulls.

October 8, 1997: Waived by the Chicago Bulls.

January 21, 1999: Signed as a free agent with the Chicago Bulls.

January 3, 2000: Waived by the Chicago Bulls.

Thank you for your service Kornel.
2024: Maybe there's some hope?

At long last, can finally lay to rest the John Starks era of the Chicago Bulls.

PJ Brown

For giving us arguably the greatest playoff performance in Chicago Bulls history.

Game 6 Vs. The Detroit Piston

7-12 for 20 points IN THE FIRST HALF. Hitting jumpers like they were a red-headed step child. Truly legendary.

I remember the last half of the season in 2003, that Jay Williams/Curry/Chandler trio really started clicking and all it did was screw us out of a top 5 position for the greatest draft in decades. SMH.
