Why not if the Bulls resign him next season give him Korver and Brewer's cash.

Maybe he will to build his value. It's not like he will make that much more signing a contract. Sure he could sign a long term contract now but if he holds out until the summer, he could make more.

As much as I'd love to believe this is true, I don't see GarPax adding JR Smith to this lockerroom. I would do it in a heartbeat, but I don't think they would. That said, the theory has always been that a team can survive one knucklehead in a lockerroom so long as there is strong leadership (Noah, Rose, Rip, Deng), but not two. So.... JR would be one - make it happen.

I hope his sister and GF get courtside seats next to the opponents bench.

There's only so many times you can see Brewer and Korver be useless in big games before your stop caring about chemistry.

 During our player press conferences Gar always seems to say something like "________ is our type of guy"

I don't know that Brewer and Korver are useless, but they're just so one-dimensional. You can't trust Korver on defense or Brewer on offense. JR Smith is a better offensive player than either of them. He's not as good of a defender as Brewer, but he's 6'6" and not bad either.

I guess everyone has addressed this but can someone please quickly school me...

Isn't J.R smith more of a head case than an asset to the team? Does anyone know anything I apparently dont?

Has he taken up meditation since being a solid disruption on the nuggets a few years back?

anyone..???
You know how Zach Efron fired Adam Davies then hired by Ari Gold, and finally asked for something with leather and 4 wheels?

It's time for Derrick Rose to do the same! - LOL Max Only!

Does anyone know exactly when he'll be back. I know the season ends mid-Feb, but is his squad making the playoffs?

So Woody Paige has "sources" that others don't have? Not buying it.

JR Smith is a total knuckehead. My thought is that on a team of hard workers and with solid leadership and coaching, his knucklehead tendencies could be alleviated a bit.

I have always been big on Smith. But its funny how much this board has changed towards smith. How almost half of you guys just knew he was too big of a knucklehead to help us.lol Just sayin

Does he sign for the vet min or try to get a new deal. If he was smart he would try to lock in a good deal now. We might have to get him in a S&T.

Korver + some sort of pick for JR

or

JR to Bulls
Korver to 3rd team (Jazz?)
Pick and TPE to Denver

JR should learn to speak Chinese, and stay in his adopted country -- with his sister.

My sources are telling me JR Smiths group will have courtside seats next to Vogel and the Indy bench :)
