SAS: Howard will ask for trade when season ends

Post#1 » by fleet » Wed Apr 25, 2012 8:39 pm

SAS said:

"The minute this season is over, according to what I am hearing from his camp, you can expect Dwight Howard to tell Orlando. 'Get me out of here. I don't want to be here any longer.' You've got Stan Van Gundy annoyed with the organization. You've got Dwight Howard disgusted with the organization. The way he's been treated, along with the way his teammates have been AWOL on him as far as he's concerned. You've got a problem. Not to mention the fact, there's one other little Cliff Note that you might find interesting. When he had his back surgery, they were talking about giving him a flight on AirTran or something like that. This is the kind of stuff that I've been told in the last 24 hours in terms of how they've treated him. He feels as a superstar, he's been treated as a scrub."

If we don't win this year then if I'm Bulls management I'd make a play for him. Thibodeau is the type of coach that can tame Howard IMO. That being said, I'd offer less for him at that point than was reportedly offered on the agreement of a contract extension earlier this season.

Dwight and Skip may be attention whores, but we are all attention Johns.

Honestly, I would only trade for Howard if there was a chance that Miami could get him for Bosh. Otherwise, I don't want him. The guy is immature, has never worked hard to develop his game, and would stick out on this team worse than Boozer in a team defense drill.

That's hilarious that Dwight Howard is complaining about the way he's being treated.

He's a whiny prima donna but I'd be willing to forget about that if he was willing to come to the Bulls and extend.

This made Cliff Levingston laugh.

Cliff Levingston wouldn't really go out of his way too much so for Dwight at this point. At least with LeBron, you know he wants to win. Dwight is a clown and it's anybody's guess what he truly wants. What would stop him from being this big of a distraction for us?

our mods would have to go back and delete all the negative threads and posts about Howard, not a single person on this board would object to him being on our team.

So if Howard leaves immediately post-season, does Van Gundy stay?

Doesn't seem like like he was beefing with the FO much.

Seems like keeping was a big mistake, but everyone did warn the Magic that it was going to become a big problem.

Man..you thought LeBron and Wade looked bad for their stupid FA tour. This guy seems like a step above them and now he has a serious injury which LeBron/Wade never had. You have to give kudos to the Utah Jazz GM for not putting up with DWill's tantrums and traded him to a junk team.
Will not Brendan Haywood or a dirty player like Bynum/MWP try to hurt Howard by hitting hard on his back when fouling? Can he take that? He now has an injury + attitude issues + Free Throw shooting problems
This is what happens if players don't take the league professionally as Rose/Deng do.

I understand the d12 hate because it is deserving, but we all agree that if you can get d12 and still keep Rose you do that deal right?

Yeah probably, but I also wouldn't ignore the mental red flags that Dwight has accumulated recently.

Its not clear if winning is his number #1 priority and we have no idea how he would respond to having to deal with Rose and Thibs on a daily basis, or, in other words, accountability. Things could get ugly if someone dare push him outside his comfort zone.

Until Dwight puts the Bulls on his list, I still don't get what else there is to talk about. This team isn't emptying their assets for a player who doesn't want to be here. If he was smart, he would've had the Bulls on his list a long time ago. Instead he wound up opting into his contract and stepping on the same steaming pile of **** he left for SVG to step in.
