Welp, burn this mother-f***er down.
Step 1: instead of "ass" say "buns." Like "kiss my buns" or "you're a buns-hole."

Sucks for him, but at least he can start his recovery & doesn't have to play any PR for the season.

Very smart move by Chicago and Rose to say this. Now there is no speculation and no criticism to be had.

I think this gives Chicago more flexibility with their moves now (if Derrick really is out for the season).

Now Garpax you have some work to do.

Get Well soon Derrick!

It is time to hit the reset button. Thibs and Rose are the only ones staying... Everyone else should be up for grabs. Hopefully, once this new rebuild (yes, rebuild - so lower the expectations from "win now") is complete, Rose will be the 2nd or 3rd best player on the team. Trading for draft picks should be a priority.

Agree with all. And yes, the Bulls/Rose did right by ending speculation. Out for the season. Clean, clear, I understand that.

No way he is worth 20 million a season. He will never be trusted to be healthy again. May be an amnesty candidate.

As expected.

Let's not go overboard praising the FO for handling this well, though. In a normal rehab situation, the org would give the public a reasonable timetable and manage expectations along the way. That's what fans have come to expect and it's truly what they deserve. This "out for the season" business is only happening because last season was such a sh*t show. This is the safe route, not the best route.

I hope the Bulls learn their lesson this year and just blow this team up. This team constructed will not win a title due to Derrick's 80 year old knees. We need a new #1 guy. Hopefully, we can get another 1.7% chance.
