#Tank4Jabari

But seriously, this hurts. Let's hope Derrick can have a healthy recovery and reach whatever personal goals he sets for himself.

Ditto. Tough luck for Rose.

Bulls only got 6 wins right now and are 11th worse, record wise. That's lottery land. Pax needs to go all-in on possibly getting a franchise talent in this draft. Very little reason not to and most knowledgeable fans would understand.

With Boozer and then perhaps Rose, the Bulls might have 8 straight years with the highest-paid player being a guy that no other team would take at that contract.

Ouch. It''s hard to win a title when your biggest salaries don't work.

Now I have to watched bulls fans relentlessly cheer for Pacers to knock off Miami Heat like last year. Let's blow this MF'er up and let's get a new franchise player.

Thibs won't be an obstacle to tanking if moves are made.

Subtract Deng off this team and the depth becomes laughable. It's already laughable without Jimmy.

He's a great coach but a coach is only worth so much in the NBA. Can't polish a turd into a diamond. And his style is not particularly suited to a bad team at all. Players are going to get sick of hearing the yelling and 24/7 detail obsession when they are losing the majority of their games.

Guys I'll be honest, I had a strange feeling about Derrick coming back this season and putting that much burden upon his shoulders with no bench mob and less talent. What I feared came true. Now even though this a dark day for us bulls fans and I know there are moronic fans who are pleased to see him out (i.e - Miami heat fans to be exact). There's light at the end of the tunnel and things will get better and I truly believe (it's a strong gut feeling) Lady Luck will be on our side in the future. I'm trying to be positive here despite the bad news.

Trade Deng and Boozer for prospects and picks and he has no choice.

Be interesting watching Boozer now. He seemed to be playing with some motivation this year, like he really wanted to avoid that amnesty. Now he is almost certainly gone, how will it affect his game. It could plummet.

Ultimately it won't really matter though.

Thibs will probably get this team to unite. But they still have no bench, so there is no way they make a pus like last year...but playoffs, sure.

Agreed, last year atleast we had Marco and nate finishing games, this year the roster isnt as good,we were depending on rose..,This aint good my friends,we need to make a move.Atleast the east sucks and we will make the playoffs, then hope another allstar in miami or Indiana gets hurt in April.

I don't see Thibs staying if Deng or Boozer are traded. Those are obvious "rebuilding" moves.

Can someone make a sticky thread at least explaining why Rose can't be amnestied? It won't matter, I'm sure we'll see a few threads of trade ideas where we get some type of draft picks for him.

I think this is Thibs' last season as our coach. He might not even make it through this season. If Deng and others are traded and it's clear we're in tank mode, then I expect him to step down, contract be damned.

Derrick Rose setting the new standards for recovery, one injury at a time. If only he could be amnestied.

What a joke, with a repair this is a 3-4month recovery. He should have had it shaved and moved on. He needs to play in games now, not worry about playing in games in 2021. Does he honestly believe he can miss two straight full seasons of NBA basketball and still be a star????? He needed games this year for development instead him and his jackass brother are worrying about 7 or 8 years from now.
