Im still angry at when they beat us with arenas..Now finally we can get revenge!!!! How many yrs ago was that?...Anyway they have a pretty solid squad, front line gortat and nene will cause problems,Then u have ariza-beal who can shoot and ofcourse john wall.Their bench got andre miller,al harrington, booker, webster, gooden,,not bad at all..I believe this will be tougher than what the nets would be but oh well we got them as well!!!!!

Re: Playoffs Round 1: Bulls vs Wizards Series Thread
These guys have a lot of confidence from beating us early in the year, but the Bulls were a different team at the time. Still reeling from Deng's trade, and not at full strength, nor playing close to how we have since the new year.
I suspect the playoff games are going to go a lot different.
Biggest things I see vs this team, is get back in transition, which we usually do great. And stay up on their shooters.
Kirk vs Wall is going to be very big. I would actually have more confidence in Derrick guarding such an athletic force, but I think Kirk can muster up a very stingy effort.
He will have to, because we will have to be careful about playing DJ too much head to head vs Wall. Though we can do perhaps some two guard lineups.

Time for Kirk and Jimmy to bring the D on Wall and Beal.

Re: Playoffs Round 1: Bulls vs Wizards Series Thread
I'm happy with this.
Not because I think the Wiz are a gimme, but because we get the chance for Indy.
But, so much for that, can't look ahead.
I'm actually feeling....shaky. This is a whole new beast. Last year, Wallace and Evans were the liabilities. Who would that guy be for the Wiz?
I see Andre Miller being a factor.
It all comes down to how we defend their back court. I have confidence in Kirk and Jimmy. Wall and Beal ain't no joke.
Taj needs to show up big time. Really, all the guys who come off the bench needs to.
Is Ariza their best defender? If so, that's a plus, since Jimmy ain't exactly Lebron.
Webster went 6-9 from 3 in the first two games combined, whatever the hell the implication of those are. He seems like a threat to get hot and be a wild card.
Oh god, playoffs. Gotta go buy a dog.

They should call Jamal and Joe Johnson from 2011, or Deron and Joe from last year to hear what they're in for.

Bulls in 5. The Wizards, led by Wall will be undisciplined. I like Hinrich and Butler playing tough D on Wall and Beal....Boozer and Noah outplaying Booker and Gortat. Bulls play their game and it shouldn't be a tough series. Get them to chuck up long jumpshots and turn the ball over, we win.

Hope Booze has saved something for the playoffs, regardless of his future here.
If he's going to start we need all out effort and some decent production.

The Bulls backcourt more than likely shoots the same. Hinrich...

Kirk cannot get in foul trouble, and must make Wall work.
This ain't like fat D-Will from last year, who relied so much on shooting. Wall is actually young, and explosive, and from what we know, injury bug free.
Kirk is giving up an inch on Beal. Would or should we put Kirk on him? Wall seems to be more of an attacker. Would Jimmy on wall be better?
